Aliens

When an alien resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress the alien. The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

  1. One of my favorites. It speaks to me of the need to have true love for that which resides within us that we do not understand. We resist. When in reality there is no need for resistance only acceptance and loving. Thanks for posting.

    • Within us – or among us. We humans tend to restrict our love to those in our own “tribe” because we tend to be threatened by that which we do not understand. Real love is more universal than that. Thanks for commenting.
