Supremely human creatures
of increasing strengths and talents
are destined to assemble
where the whole wide world will see
the way to place the features
of the human form in balance
and so begin
to usher in
our full humanity.

They gather at the venue
Of forbidden human feeling.
those buried treasures hidden
by a heart consumed in shame,
affectionate, effeminate, 
erotic or revealing,
when synthesized without compromise
will comprise the human name.

Those animal, primordial
and precious primal passions
suppressed became the legislation
of the human heart.
What was suppressed
will be expressed
in many flagrant fashions:
not by the world at large –
but by particular performers
in Performing Arts

Who pretty soon upon the world will barge
that we might share in the sheer sensation!
I hear a sudden syncopation,
as a drummer takes up his drum,
and offers to the people free of charge
the very beat of a new creation
that is the total human heartbeat
in the Age that is to come.

The Age to come
is coming from
a place of widespread liberation
replacing the prevailing
patriarchal piety
reserved for slaves and children
not for healers of a nation
and not for bros and sistahs
in a new society.

And when the time has come,
we’ll hear a human nation singing,
preventing a catastrophe from falling on our land.
The whole world round
Will hear the sound
of liberation ringing!
Hear me and understand
because the hour is close at hand . . .

When wells of water roar and rage
In rolling waves of wonder
That women welcome wisely.
And when men not half so wise
Have thought to shut down all those roaring
Warring rounds of thunder,
Then thus the curse will be reversed
In the Age that is on the rise!

So round and round and round we roll
And rock that raging ocean
That sediment of sentiment
And shock we thought was Art.
Let ritual and relic
Be replaced by real devotion
Let the only Song that matters
Be the Song that’s from the heart
